“Do Some Good” charity initiative – latest Sponsor

LAZY SUSAN are a trusted provider of high quality, maintenance-free metal garden furniture. Established in 2007 by owner Michael Scott, quite literally from his garden shed, the business has since grown and now has a small dedicated team that prides itself on offering exceptional service and living up to their “Do Some Good” charity initiative – they have made an amazingly generous donation to the LifeHouse this last month of £2,700! This comes at a particularly valuable time for us as we look to do a lot of refurbishing and re-equipping following our recent, venue rebuilding programme! We have a lot of people hungry and in severe need coming to us – as many as 200 every week! We will now be able to seat 65+ at one time instead of 28 – which had led to serious queuing.

This immensely valued and appreciated gift will be used over the next month or two for:

  • Fresh Wednesday breakfast food – bacon, large breakfast baps, eggs and sausages
  • New lighting in the half of the new dining room furthest from the windows. We have just got a quote for of 16 new LEDs in three rows replacing the dreadful old, flickering fluorescent strip lighting there now
  • 120 new ceiling tiles in this section to go in before the lights – current ones are dirty and some 40 years old at least
  • Local carpenter to form new crockery cupboards under new kitchen hatch
  • New, larger, stronger, mobile clothes rails for displaying free clothes to our guests when they visit in the future

Thank you again so much to Michael Scott and all the Team at Lazy Susan Ltd. Do checkout their fabulous end-of-season sale – many bargains on: www.lazysusanfurniture.co.uk and www.facebook.com/LazySusanFurniture
